Do you have a bunch of partially full propane or butane fuel canisters from camping and backpacking? Are you not sure which one to use first? This method reduces the number of partial fuel canisters and youll always know which one to use first.

Boring Primus Movie…Fun though I love my little 96′s. You can also light them by just closing the air screw, as the burner tube is heating, and a little yellow flame will appear at the top of the tube. Then, a few pumps, and it will light itself, without matches. Wood burning camp stove made out of an empty 1kg coffee can.It costs next to nothing, pretty easy to make, burns almost anything you can find in the woods (dry grass, small twigs, pine cones, etc..). The legs and the support/grill rods are removable for storage and transportation. It works great and gets a litre of water to a rolling boil in about 4-8 minutes. It depends on the fuel and on water, (and /or) air temperature and such.

The Kangaroo Kitchen was a propane fueled camp stove that was no bigger than a brief case but could be used to cooking, baking, and heating water for clean up as well as the grill was used as a drain board. I really want a new one. Saw one in a Dick’s sporting goods ad but could not find the actual stove or a supplier. Thanks for your help.

I am going a Cub Scout campout this weekend and have to take tortilla chips and a side dish. The main dish is chicken fajitas. Cooking will be limited to campfire, maybe propane camp stove. 9 Kids and 9 adults.
I will be taking whatever I need to get the job done. Someone else is doing grilled vegetebles, corn, and desert.
